About Connect For Education
We had this crazy idea that course materials should be beautiful and engaging.
It all started at a picnic over a glass of wine
In 1996, Dongsook and Bruce Whitehead offered to host a student picnic at their home where they met Dr. Carlos Maldonado, and the rest, as they say, is history. With a common passion for education and improving the learning process through technology, Dongsook, Bruce, and Carlos vowed to create a company that used technology to make learning fun, engaging, and memorable, increase affordability, and change the way all the stake holders in the learning process interact with each other and their course materials. And so Connect For Education was born.
And we’re just getting started
Since then C4E has served...

Why Our Customers ❤️ C4E!
Prof Tiffany Barry, Sacramento State
I like the music curriculums and the ability to change and edit them.
Prof Susan Bruckner, Cabrillo Community College
I think the huge selection of music listening examples is exceptional and far more comprehensive than many I have reviewed.
Prof Susan Bruckner, Cabrillo Community College
The music course is still the best on the market; very thorough with interesting musical examples and clear explanations for beginning listeners.
Prof Lance Ford, Carl Albert State College
I've had the chance to use C4E text in my music courses over the last several years. Not only is the content spot on, but the support is fantastic! You can't go wrong with this tool.
Prof Brad DeRoche, Delta College
C4E music courses and customer service are both top-notch. If there is better out there, I haven't seen it.
Dr. Audley Chambers, Oakland University
The Connect for Education music courses are a rich media content-driven text that can be used like a regular textbook or delivered to your target audience in a synchronous or asynchronous fashion. Most, if not all of their texts come with a variety of ancillary materials to help navigate, structure the course as well as engage students.
