Jesse is excellent Double Bass mentor. He never gave a complete answer to any question. Instead, he'd give me a little information and then we'd talk about it. By the end of the conversation, my question would be answered along with much more information.

One word--AMAZING! I met with Vera several times for online voice lessons and she is in one word--AMAZING! Even though we have met via Zoom or FaceTime, she has perfect pitch therefore, she hears when I hit the wrong note. I also appreciate her suggestions. For example, writing out the count on challenging rhythms and the additional accidental sharps in a measure. She also suggested not using the sustain pedal during Invention 1 by Bach since it is a Baroque piece where harpsichords were only available. Again, AMAZING! Yun

I really appreciate how Yoo Ri really understands her students and the way she teaches is so natural. She has helped me a lot to understand my own colors. she helped developed more on my voice. She is always supportive and encouraging. What i also like about my mentor is her honesty and positivity.

I appreciated my guitar mentor's style, he had wonderful finesse in his message, really awesome, sensitive to age of student.

There are many piano teachers but few really know how to teach. Thank you Yoo Ri for being an outstanding teacher by first understanding the student's struggles and then providing valuable techniques effectively. I am so blessed to have you as a mentor as you have helped me with so many different challenging struggles in playing the piano. For that reason, I do plan on continuing to learn. Thank you.

I am a voice student taking lessons with Dina. She is a professional in her field. She gives bits of advice that instantly help correct mistakes in singing. Also, she is a nice person. I am happy that found such a good mentor.

A Great Mentor I have had a few online double bass sessions with Matt Robinson and he has been very helpful every time. I like his teaching style and I definitely have benefitted from our previous sessions.

This applied course is much more involved than a similar one I took at another college. The regular discussions help give it the structure of a real class, rather than feeling like I’m just playing independently with no interaction or performance expectations. At first, I mistakenly assumed it would be like the other course, but once I understood the format, I realized how thoughtfully it’s designed. That structure has really set me up for success.

YooRi is a kind and understanding mentor, and strikes a balance between pushing me and being empathetic to my character.

Lu Peng was a great piano teacher who had an incredible amount of information that I wouldn't have ever thought of. I really appreciate how she taught it as well, it made the time pass incredibly quickly as every moment was filled with information and knowledge.

This past semester I had the opportunity to be Jonathan Trotta’s guitar student and I feel like I learned so much from him! He really knows how to bring out the inner musician within his student even more, from technique, to different approaches within the piece itself, learning how to let the inner harmony really sing and much more! He is an amazing teacher and I highly recommend him!
